I’m hard at work on several projects, so I thought I’d start this thing off with an update about what I’m up to.
First off, I’m working on the first novella in the first trilogy in what I call my Consortium of Worlds universe. If you like pulpy space opera with quirky characters and lots of action, this one’s for you.
I’m also putting the finishing touches on my fourth Shadow Council Archives novella for Falstaff Books, called The Map of Time. The third book, The Dream Key, should be out soon, hopefully in time for this year’s Dragon Con, where I am appearing as an attending pro. After that, I have one more to write for them.
And I just landed a ghostwriting gig! It’s for a sixty thousand word epic fantasy novella. Should be fun. The money’s good too.
As if that wasn’t enough, I’m trying to gain some visibility by placing stories in a few anthologies. One of them is more or less a done deal. The jury’s still out on one more, and I just started a story for a third. The deadline is June 30th, so I need to get cranking on it. I should hear about the first two soon.
Well, that’s about it for now. I’m going to get back to the writing. For weekly updates, check out my Patreon. Subscribers get free e-books, print books, story and novel snippets, and lots of other cool perks.
